Destination Climate Action planning
As part of the national Destination Net Zero programme, Glasgow was selected as one of three destinations to participate in a pilot scheme to develop a Climate Action Plan with the support of The Travel Foundation. Glasgow Life has now completed a first phase Sustainability Plan.
Wider activity by VisitScotland to accelerate the tourism and events industry’s progress towards climate action included the creation of series of five webinars, which can be viewed on visitscotland.org.
